Mash up half of an avocado, puree the other half, mix it together, and slather it on your face. Read a book or for more fun, stare at your neighbors out the window for 10-15 minutes. When you’re done scaring the Jones’s with your freakishly green face, rinse it off. It’ll leave your skin glowing.

2. Hair Mask:

To make an avocado hair mask, remove the insides of a medium sized avocado. Mash it up well or put it in a blender to make it super smooth. Stir in a half of a teaspoon of olive oil and the yolk of one egg. Apply the mask to your hair, making sure to work it in all the way from root to tip, and let that it sit for 25 minutes. Rinse well, shampoo and condition as usual. You won’t believe how shiny and soft your hair will be after this one.

3. Moisturizer:

Do you have dry skin issues? Avocados contain tons of natural oils that can help combat the driest patches. Oils are  healthy for your skin, even if your skin is already naturally oily. Gently rub the inner side of an avocado peel on your (previously washed and dried) skin. Let that sit for at least 15 minutes, but you can do longer if you’d like. When ready, splash your skin with water and gently wash it away. Enjoy your soft skin and be sure to make something tasty with the rest of the avocado!

4. Exfoliating Scrub:

We had an especially long wither this year, which means that many of us have stubborn dry skin to treat. Try this exfoliating scrub on your roughest spots to get them ready for summer. Mix 3-4 teaspoons oatmeal, 1 egg white, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice with a mashed half of a medium sized avocado. Smooth it on and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse, dry, and conquer!

5. Miracle Vitamin Smoothie, Guacamole, Burger Topper, etc:

Cut the avocado in half, devour as needed. Seriously. Just eat it. Avocado has a ridiculous amount of healthy proteins, minerals, fats, and oils that will help your hair shine and your skin glow from the inside out.
